Tasha Marsaglia has lived in Plainfield for just over nine years and his in her 11th year with the Chamber as the Executive Director. Tasha is originally from Washington State where she and her family lived until she was in the sixth grade. Afterwards she and her family moved to Florida where she graduated high school and attended a small University in North Carolina where she received her degree in liberal studies. Shortly after she began working in Admissions for her alma mater, then began to explore a career in community relations once arriving in Illinois.
Tasha had a chance to be a member of the PACC, now known as PSACC while working at Rasmussen University where she sat on the 5k committee, the Ambassador Committee, and attended many of the chamber events. It was then where she began to know the business community and when the opportunity to become part of the PSACC staff presented itself, which was an opportunity she welcome wholeheartedly.
To quote Tasha, “Becoming a part of the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber has been a very rewarding experience for me. I have always enjoyed getting to know the community I live in and work in. Since being at the Chamber we have had opportunities to grow and extend more into our community and surrounding communities. Each year we continue to add on new things that our members and community can get involved in. "We have an awesome team here in our chamber office and we have seen tremendous growth over the past few years, I thank our members and Board of directors for all your support so far.” Our PSACC members is what makes us successful!
Tasha and her husband Eric Marsaglia currently reside in Plainfield with their four Children and dog, Bimba who may see time to time at the office .
